Adidas 1989-90 USA Match Worn Away Shirt

United States 1989-90 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been worn by Armstrong in the 89-90 season as the nation prepared to play at their first World Cup Finals since 1950.

This eye catching navy blue design with an interesting octagonal pattern was notably used in the friendly match against the USSR played at Stanford Stadium, Palo Alto in February '90.

Armstrong was a regular throughout this period and went on to represent his country at the 1990 World Cup Finals in Italy and win a total of 81 caps between 1987-94.
