Kelly been in the squad for Euro '88 too but did not make an appearance in the team's five matches played at the tournament here. The striker was a part of the Ireland squad for 10 years between 88-98 and despite winning only 26 caps he went to 3 major tournaments and scored 9 goals for his country.
