It was the last international match of the calendar year for both sides and the hosts secured a 1-0 victory thanks to an 8th minute Domingos effort.

The FC Porto star André played the full match and won 19 caps for his country between 1985-92 and domestically he picked up 7 Primeira Liga titles as well as the European Cup in 1987. This great silky and lightweight Adidas design was used by a Selecção from 1989-91.
