Soviet Union 1991 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been issued to Kanchelskis for the 1991 season.
This awesome Adidas design was worn a total of 4 times, against Germany and Argentina in friendly matches in March & May '91 although the team all wore long sleeved shirts and then in Euro 92 qualification fixtures with Cyprus and Norway in May & August '91 when the team did play in short sleeve shirts.
Kancheslskis wore #8 in the matches he played at this time so this thought to be an issued spare. The nation played their final game as the Soviet Union at the end of this year when the white design was worn. Kanchelskis went on to sign for Manchester United and win the English Premier League while at international level starring at Euro '92 & '96.
