Adidas 1991 West Germany Match Worn Home Shirt

West Germany 1991 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been worn by Beiersdorfer #14 in the exhibition match against the FIFA World All Stars XI played in Munich on the 8th October 1991.

Germany were involved in the match as they were the reigning World Cup winners and they faced a star studded FIFA XI which included the likes of Gullit, Weah, Stoichkov and Valderrama. But the hosts were at full strength too with Klinsmann, Voller, Matthaus and Brehme all present and they came from behind to win easily in the end, 3-1.

Beiersdorfer had won his first and only full international cap in May '91 and played the full match here, scoring the equaliser after 28 minutes. This incredible design shirt that was worn at both Euro '88 and the 1990 World Cup featured in this game, incredibly and for the first time, with name and number print and a Unicef sponsor.

Correct player size flock print professionally heat pressed, flock Unicef sponsor, no internal size or wash label, machine stitched DFB crest and embroidered Adidas trefoil, swapped with a USA player and comes from their collection.
