The DFB interestingly reverted to wearing shirts to the same specification as Euro '92 with player names but no match or tournament detail this time. The final game of the trip took place in Mexico City on the 22nd December '93 and that was the last time this iconic home kit was seen. Berti Vogts' men drew 0-0 against the hosts in the Azteca Stadium. Brehme played against Argentina and USA but was rested for the Mexico game. The all-time great German left back Brehme will be forever remember as the man who scored the goal that won the 1990 World Cup and he represented his country 86 times in total going to six major international tournaments.
