Riedle bagged a hat-trick after Klinsmann had scored the opener with Dooley hitting a brace for the USA. Buchwald played the full match and was still integral to the side, going on to play at the 1994 World Cup before retiring from the international scene with 76 caps to his name. This is the first time a Germany away shirt had ever been worn with a name and number on the back after the home version was worn throughout Euro 92, making it a very special and collectable piece.
