The side did that here with a 2-0 victory secured by goals from iconic striking duo Brolin and Dahlin. Björklund played the full match at the back alongside Pontus Kåmark. This proved to be the Blågult's last victory in the group though and they missed out on a place at the Final's with a suprisingly distant 3rd place finish after their heroics at USA '94. Björklund represented Sweden 79 times in his international career and moved to Italy the following year with Vicenza.
