Sporting Lisbon 1983-84 player shirt by Cosmos believed to have been match worn in a match against Estoril Praia in the 1983-84 season.
The sides met in the Taça de Honra at Estádio do Restelo on the 11th October and this finished in a 3-1 victory for Sporting with goals from Rodger Wylde, Jason and Kikas.
While in the Primeira Divisão there was a 0-0 draw at António Coimbra da Mota in December '83 and a 2-1 win for Sporting at José Alvalade in April '84. It is not known which particular match the shirt was worn in and Sporting normally played in Le Coq Sportif manufactured shirts during this campaign. The side finished 3rd place in this season under boss Jozef Vengloš.
