Diadora 1992 Italy Match Worn Home Shirt

Italy 1992 player shirt by Diadora believed to have been match worn by Casiraghi in the friendly match against Holland played at Philips Stadium, Eindhoven on the 9th September 1992.

The prolific Juventus striker Casiraghi joined the action as a 78th minute substitute for Gianluca Vialli who had just scored what would be the winner. The match was a thriller with the hosts running into a 2-0 lead thanks to Dennis Bergkamp but the Azzurri struck back with Baggio and Eranio levelling matters before half-time, with Vialli then netting the winner.

This was Casiraghi's 8th appearance for Italy, he would go on to make 44 in total and feature at the 1994 World Cup and Euro 96, scoring 13 goals, as well as playing for Lazio and Chelsea.
