here we have a very special auction indeed. We have a fully authenticated gordon banks England goal keeping shirt from the 1970 world cup campaign and a 1966 home internationals cap.

Obviously both items are extremely rare. these items were auctioned at a benifit dinner at the leicester city ground in 1995 and my client bought these items at that auction we have photographic evidence of gordon banks presenting these items to my client.this is in the form of the march 15th 1995 programme of leicester city v leeds united the center spread of the programme is dedicated to this benifit dinner where most of the 66 world cup squad were reunited. excerts from the programme read as follows "that brazil v england match in the mexico world cup of 1970 was a truly memerable game of football,every where i go people talk about "that save""," and (about the shirt and cap) "SHIRT AND CAP; gordon's england jersey and cap from the mexico world cup in 1970" the auction was for gordon banks second testimonial. A sensible reserve has been set for the above items which are in a very good glass fronted frame as shown in the pictures and in the programme picture .payment can be made in the form of a bankers draft or other type of payment which must be agreed by my client before bidding please ask any questions you need to well in advance of the end of the auction to allow the communication chain to happen.
