This style of shirt was worn by Chelsea as an away shirt in the 1984-85 season and as a third shirt in the 1985-86 season. The Le Coq Sportif collar tag states that the shirt is size 'MEN 4/5, CHEST 38/40"'. The shirt, which has the number 15 machine stitched on the back, is in very good condition with only a couple of minor pulls and one very minor (about the size of a pin head) stain under the right arm. The LCS logo has also worn off the number 1 on the back, leaving remants. It does not appear that the number 5 ever carried the LCS logo.
This style of shirt was never sold to the public with long sleeves. Replica shirts also had the LCS logo in raised flock, whereas it is embroidered one this player shirt - please see the second picture showing the CFC badge and LCS logo embroidered. You don't see many of these around!
