Up for auction : VINTAGE TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR No 3 SHIRT 1987PLAYERS? SPURS
The seller added the following: On offer here is an official Hummel Spurs Home Number 3 Shirt in Long Sleeves from around about 1987. The shirt could well be a players shirt though im not 100% sure and i will leave that up to the bidder.The reason im saying that is the Spurs crest is embroidered into shirt and not just embossed as was on the replicas i have seen in the past.The shirt also comes in long sleeves which i dont think the replicas of the time came in.It also has the official Hummel number 3 printed within on back which i think is consistent with the players shirts at that time.

Hummel logo and sponsor embossed(slightly worn and faded but fine)
This style of shirt would have been worn by the likes of Mabbutt,Hughton, Allen,Waddle and co
Im not sure whether this shirt would have had a white wing collar overlapping the v-neck which may have been taken off at some point though again i will leave that up to bidder as im not sure.There are 4 different small 1 inch parts of seam stitching came loose at neck which may have been a result of this though easily repaired if need be.
From pit to pit it measures 20 1/2 inches so about a 40" chest though shirts were worn tighter back then.
A couple of small pulls and a few clicks and bobbles but ok.Please read full description for condition.
Overall fair/good condition and a very rare shirt from 1987.
Very Much a Collectable Shirt and would be excellent framed.
Would make and ideal gift for any Spurs Fan or Shirt Collector.
