Denmark 1986 player shirt by Hummel believed to have been match worn by Sivebæk in the Euro 88 Qualification Group 6 match against Finland played at Parken, Copenhagen on the 29th October '86.
This all-time classic design had shot to worldwide fame this summer at the 1986 World Cup and gained iconic status both for its originality and the superb performances of the 'Danish Dynamite' on the pitch.
Thankfully it was kept on for the successful Euro 88 qualification campaign too and worn as the side kick off their group fixtures with a 1-0 victory over Finland. Sivebæk played the full match in his familar right back role and Jens Bertelsen scored the only goal of the game in the 67th minute. Sivebæk who was with Manchester United at this time was part of that famed Mexico '86 squad and would be selected for Euro 88 also making 87 appearances in total for the DBU. This specification of the famous shirt is the same as was worn at the World Cup with an updated version worn in '87 which featured the Hummel logo next to the text.
