Sporting Lisbon 1985-86 player shirt by Le Coq Sportif believed to have been issued for the UEFA Cup 1st Round 2nd leg against Feyenoord played at de Kuip on the 2nd October 1985.
Sporting travelled to Rotterdam with a healthy 3-1 lead from the 1st leg but they fell behind early on here and had to fear the away goal that Feyenoord had scored in Portugal until Litos put them in the driving seat with a 59th minute strike. Despite Been giving the hosts a 2-1 win on the night Sporting could celebrate a place in the 2nd Round. Two substitutes were used on the night #13 Oceano and #16 Saucedo. The Verde e brancos went on a great run to the Quarter Finals of the competition this year before coming up just short against FC Köln.
