Rincón himself though was on hand to score the equaliser, the 9th goal of his international career, and strike partner Emilio Butragueño bagged a brace before half-time to wrap up a comfortable 3-1 victory. Rincón picked up an injury not long after scoring and had to go off for Manu Sarabia. In his first season with Real Betis the striker had won the Pichichi Trophy and he went on to spend 8 years in Andalusia scoring goals for fun with his record for Spain 10 goals in 22 games between 1983-86.
