Barcelona 1986 player shirt by Meyba believed to have been match worn by Roberto in the Trofeo Joan Gamper Final against PSV Eindhoven played at the Nou Camp on the 20th August 1986.
Barca had eased past AC Milan 3-1 in the Semi Finals to take their place in the Final of the annual Nou Camp showpiece pre-season match.
There was little to choose between Terry Venables' men and the reigning Dutch champions but it was the Blaugrana who triumphed thanks to a last minute Carrasco penalty. Roberto had only just joined the club this summer from Valencia and he played the full match and went on to have an impressive debut season scoring 10 goals in 40 La Liga matches. The midfielder remained a regular at the Nou Camp until 1990 when he returned to Valencia.
