Despite drawing with Chile and Austria, a 3-0 loss to the Azzurri saw the side finish bottom of the group. Although playing just 3 games in the tournament they also came out with the worst disciplinary record, ending with 3 red cards and 12 yellows to their name.
Defender Abanda was part of the squad but acted as an unused substitute in all three group stage matches. The shirt will have been given to Abanda during the tournament but will not have been prepared for match use since the shirts used in matches were prepared and worn without the lower front Puma patch.
