Uhlsport 1990-91 Inter Milan Match Worn UEFA Cup Away Shirt

Inter Milan 1990-91 player shirt by Uhlsport believed to have been match worn by Brehme in the UEFA Cup 2nd Round 1st leg match against Aston Villa played at Villa Park, Birmingham on the 24th October 1990.

Inter suffered a 2-0 setback going down to goals from Nielsen and Platt for the hosts. It looked like they were dead and buried but incredibly they mounted a stunning comeback at the San Siro to triumph 3-0 and progress to the next round.

Brehme, who scored the goal that won the World Cup for Germany, played the full match and was in superb form helping inspire Inter all the way to glory in the competition. The left back supremo made 36 appearances in all competitions firing the side past Partizan, Atalanta, Sporting CP and then Serie A rivals Roma in the Final to secure the club's first Euopean trophy since 1965. Brehme spent 4 years in his prime at San Siro and made 86 appearances for his country.
