Celtic 1976 player shirt by Umbro believed to have been worn in the Jimmy Johnstone & Bobby Lennox Testimonial match against Manchester United played at Celtic Park on the 17th May 1976.

54,000 packed into Parkhead to pay tribute to the legends Johnstone & Lennox and they were in for a treat as the wing wizards rolled back the years to dazzle the Red Devils as Celtic ran out 4-0 winners.

Kenny Dalglish was the hat-trick hero though for Jock Stein's men leaving Alex Stepney with no chance in the United goal. This was the last shirt Celtic wore which featured no logos on it, the new kit for 76-77 had an Umbro diamond on the chest with the club crest then added for 77-78.

Made from 100% cotton, numbers not worn on the back of Celtic shirts until the mid 90's, design not commercially available, swapped with a Man Utd player and comes from their own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided.
