Umbro 1992-93 Napoli Match Worn Home Shirt

Napoli 92/93 player shirt by Umbro believed to have been match worn by Crippa in the Serie A match against Juventus played at Stadio Delle Alpi on the 7th March 1993.

Crippa played the full 90 minutes of this pulsating match that ended in a 4-3 thriller. Juve led 2-0 at half-time after goals from Di Canio and Platt but the visitors got themselves back in through Zola and then Ferrera levelled.

A minute led Juve went back ahead and matters quickly got worse as Ferrara was sent off. Fonseca made it 3-3 from the penalty spot but Napoli could not hold on with 10 men and Möller grabbed a late winner for Juve. This was Crippa's last season at the club before a move to big spending Parma and he made 29 Serie A appearances in this campaign as the Partenopei battled to an 11th place finish. The defensive midfielder made 17 appearances for Italy and also represented his country at the 1996 Olympics.
