England 1993 player shirt by Umbro believed to have been prepared for the 1993 season. This shirt was given as a gift following the match against USA at the US Cup on the 9th June '93.
The shirts the players wore at this tournament featured players names also though. This away shirt was originally released ahead of the 1990 World Cup and was then updated in '92 with the new Umbro logo before this edition was worn in 1993 with the new style crest to match the new home shirt.
The shirt was worn to this specification against Germany at the summer tournament and then in the infamous 7-1 victory at San Marino. In one of the most embarassing moments in English football history, when Davide Gaultieri scored the opener goal after 8.3 seconds he not only set the record for the fastest goal in World Cup history he put the final nail in the coffin of Graham Taylor's England management career.
