Roberto Di Mattero scored the fastest goal ever in FA Cup Final history to put Ruud Gullit's men in charge in a game which eventually finished 2-0, with Eddie Newton adding the second 7 minutes from time.
Sinclair played the full 90 minutes and the victory gave the Jamaican international defender his first piece of silverware as a Chelsea player. He would eventually go on to make 169 appearances for the Blues in a career spanning 8 seasons, which would include a League Cup Final goal and winners medal in 97-98, before joining Leicester City.
