The wonderful pages here are taken from a 1981 catalogue advertising Erima products.
After being a long-term supplier to adidas, the German giants purchased its smaller compatriot in 1976 and Erima continued to produce football kits on The Brand with the Three Stripes’ behalf. In fact, there is a definite three-striped flavour to these designs - particularly when the adidas sleeve taping is so conspicuous as it is on the Bayern Munich shirt here!
Despite being replica wear for children - often with significant differentiation from the match kits - these designs, which include those of Germany, Brazil, Borussia Dortmund and HSV - amongst others - provide a pleasing snapshot of a simpler time in the history of kit design.
