This is the new 09/10 Heerenveen Home kit made by Jako.

The stripes and waterlily leaves represent the districts of Friesland. The crest on the club emblem is the symbol of the flag of Friesland. The flag of Friesland is based on the arms of the 15th century.

A unique tradition in the Dutch eredivisie is that the Frysian national anthem is played and sung before every domestic match. The UEFA doesn't allow this tradition in European matches.

Jako sucks some serious ass here. the heerenveen shirt is already quite interesting and complex to add all the shorts & shoulders rubbish. yet the away kit is so simple I bet they spent like 2 minutes on it -applying the master touch with the use of weakest possible colors. bring on the icu, epileptics will spontaneously combust.

I bet on 0 positive comments.

It\'s too messy on the shoulders, and it reminds me Puma 07/08 template, with those white panels under the shoulders instead of on the sleeves.

That Jako template is horrible, too bad cause I usually like the Heerenveen shirts, quite original :-)
