Hibernian FC unveiled their new kit for Season 09/10 made by Le Coq Sportif.
Hibernian has once again combined the traditional with the innovative for the new playing kit for season 2009/10. Taking a stance against the usual home and away kit launch schedule, this summer the Club will introduce all of next season’s outfield playing kit at the same time.

In conjunction with long-term technical sponsor, Le Coq Sportif, Hibernian has developed a unique inter-changeable playing strip system that can be mixed and matched in several classic Hibernian green and white combinations.
The Club has listened to supporters with a return to the classic Hibernian colours and strip layout – the vintage Hibernian Green-white-green strip is back. Simple, clean-cut straight lines allow the Club colours to stand out, including detail and panels of dark green, linking the kit back to the original Hibernian shirt. The central placement of the Club crest pays homage to the history of Hibernian and provides a balanced finish to the shirt.
And for the first time in five years Hibernian’s change strip will once again be all-white. Bright, direct and incisive, the much requested all-white combination is finished with emerald and dark green flashes and trim, identifying it as truly Hibernian. Available for the first time with green numbering and lettering, the all-white strip will be a must-have for all Hibernian supporters.
With both strips being based around white shorts, supporters will also be able to save from having to buy 2 full sets of kit, and to create their own kit combinations.
Prices start from £17.99 for kid’s mini-kit shirts and £34.99 for adult shirts.
As with all modern playing kit, the new kit system is more than just a colour scheme. Having been tested and trialed by First Team players in training during season 08/09, the strips have been designed and built with fitted multi-mesh panelling giving optimum ventilation and torso breathability. The strategically placed mesh body panelling with varying degrees of perforation offers a comfortable, effective body management cooling system, vital for today’s intensive game of speed and agility.
All the kit is finished in the most durable of fabrics, to ensure the shirt, shorts and socks will hold their shape and form for the entire season and beyond.
