With their new collectors' edition shirt, l'Olympique de Marseille and adidas wish to inspire their fans to embrace a great cause: the fight against cancer, and in particular the fight against breast cancer. The goal is to promote awareness and prevention; a major objective of La Ligue contre le cancer.
Through this action, the male world of football can make a strong expression of support; players and fans will be the spokespeople for this female cause and this will raise awareness, for all our female loved ones, to the fight against breast cancer.
Olympique de Marseille will wear the shirt of solidarity during big games, particularly the Coupe de la Ligue.
Ambassadors such as Vanessa Demouy, Coralie Balmy, Nadiya and Diane Robert were due to be alongside the team to launch the shirt at the Olympique de Marseille-Olympique Lyonnais Ligue 1 championship match last night (28 October) but the game was postponed due to extreme weather.
From every shirt sold, a repayment fund will enable La Ligue contre le cancer to realise a key project: awareness of women in vulnerable situations. L'Olympique de Marseille and adidas will therefore effectively participate in the financing of operations and actions in the areas covered by the Committees of La Ligue contre le cancer.

The shirt:
The logo of the La Ligue contre le cancer is positioned in the centre of the shirt to promote explicitly the goal of raising awareness.
The colour pink is present, representing the identity of the fight against breast cancer, in the three stripes of the club's kit manufacturer. The contrast of the bright color with the black shirt gives it a dimension of class and style while still respecting the values inherent in the cause.
This shirt incorporates the ethical performance of all l'OM shirts, including through Climacool® technology optimising perspiration control.
l'OM fans can find this shirt from Sunday 28 October at 6pm in the online l'OM and adidas stores and from Monday 29 October in sports stores. The shirt is priced at €80 for men, €65 for children and €45 for the female version.
