This is the new FC Porto 14/15 Home football shirt by Warrior.
Last week, FC Porto announced a new kit deal with American manufacturer Warrior.
The success of FC Porto, the Portuguese club with the most official titles won, was the inspiration behind the design created by Warrior. In the main jersey, there are 11 light blue lines over a royal blue background, representing the 11 players on the pitch. These lines create 12 blue strips, representing the 12th player, the white and blue fans.
On the shoulders, the orange contrast on the seams gives the jersey movement and freshness, with high performance and ventilation being assured by two different layers of tech fabric. Lastly, the name of the club, embroiled on the back, close to the neck, give the main jersey uniqueness and the FC Porto brand. The new equipment has high tech features (War-Tech system) which will keep perspiration away from the skin thanks to the high absorption material.
According to Richard Wright, CEO of Warrior Football, “it was challenging to come up with a jersey that reflected not only the future and a new era for FC Porto, but that also reflected the past”. “We designed this visually impressive equipment, immediately recognised as being FC Porto, and it allows the players to have a better performance. We are looking forward to seeing them on the pitch in the next season”, the CEO concluded.
