AS Saint-Etienne 15/16 Le Coq Sportif Third Football Shirt

This is the new AS Saint-Etienne Third football shirt by Le coq sportif.

Le coq sportif decided to make its comeback in football, a key sport to the brand's development, in partnership AS Saint-Etienne, who share the brand's values of authenticity, accessibility, and team spirit.

The jersey is made of high-tech polyester. The back is made of the same material, but it is ventilated for better breathability and moisturewicking properties.

Le coq sportif decided to print the text «Évidemment c’est les Verts» («The Greens... Obviously») inside the jersey, near the base of the neck. It is the perfect homage to the Greens’ heyday, when they last wore le coq sportif jerseys.

The close-fitting, dynamic cut is faithful to the brand’s patterns. The flat seams help reduce chafing, keeping the players comfortable.

The slim cut, the fitted sleeves, and the tricolour trim around the collar and sleeves all nod to the jersey worn in the team’s glory days. The jerseys are made of high-tech polyester. The back is made of the same material, but it is ventilated for better breathability and moisturewicking properties.

The brand has unveiled a new performance logo. It shows the rooster coming out of its triangle and looking to the right, on an arched tricolour base. As on the brand’s first jerseys, it is flocked on the chest, a proud reminder for players.

The bottom of the jersey also features an authentic touch, the text «Produit Officiel - Garantie Qualité» («Official Product - Quality Guarantee»), a reference to le coq sportif’s origins in the knitwear industry. Early on, the factory supervisor would stamp all the products as certified compliant before they were released from the plant.

One of the most authentic strips I've seen so far this season. Good to see Le Coq Sportif making football tops again.

Using this wouldn't be a great disaster, I think it looks really nice.

I don't think green will be used again any time soon since last year's green/turquoise disaster, but this is a nice shirt.
