FC Dallas 2015 Adidas Away Football Shirt

FC Dallas unveiled their new 2015 away shirt by adidas.

Last year the club's blue-and-white away shirt had a total of seven horizontal stripes running across the front. But the thinner blue-and-white hoops introduced in 2015 means that number is up to 14.

Among the other details on the new jersey are: the LH on the back neck in honour of late owner Lamar Hunt; the popular "Dallas 'Til I Die" slogan on the neck tape in red and blue; and a new V-shaped front collar.

As one of the league's charter clubs, FC Dallas also joined the group of nine clubs sporting a "Founding Team" patch on the inside of their jersey underneath the team badge. It's a new feature introduced this year by kit manufacturer adidas.

I don't think I'll ever understand why teams playing in stripes have to have a large section of them removed for the player's number.

A bold red number would stand out on top of stripes or it could be another colour, boxed in like rugby teams used to have.
