Sheffield United 15/16 Adidas 125th Anniversary Home Kit

Sheffield United 15/16 Adidas 125th Anniversary Home Kit

Sheffield United unveiled their 125th anniversary Home football shirt by adidas.

The new look strip for next season was unveiled to fans in the match against Port Vale to mark the culmination of the club's 125th anniversary activities.

The one off design created by adidas is a modern interpretation of the first recognised Sheffield United strip from the turn of the 1890s and also includes the first identified club badge.

Primarily white, the retro style celebratory shirt features red pinstripes, a collar with press studs and the familiar three stripes of our official technical kit supplier. The shirt will also be worn with red shorts and red socks.

Retail Manager Lisa Crossland said "The 2014/15 kit has seen phenomenal success in the Blades Superstore and we are sure that fans will be just as excited about this historical shirt."

Adult shirts are priced at £45 with junior shirts from £35. Shorts are available from £20 and socks from £10.

I don't care how nice it looks. Adidas need to stop messing with teams colours.
Sheffield United should wear red and white stripes.
West Brom should wear navy and white stripes
West Ham should wear claret with sky sleeves and white shorts.
Adidas would not do this to Ajax or Real Madrid, so should not do it to other teams.
If I was a Blade's fan I would refuse to buy it, as a home shirt.
