West Bromwich Albion 16/17 Adidas Home Kit

This is the new West Bromwich Albion 16/17 Home football kit by Adidas.

A combination of the traditional stripes, a contemporary twist of light blue and a plain back will give Albion a new look when they step out as the West Midlands' solitary Premier League representatives next season.

The shirt comes with a ribbed grandad collar two-button design and includes ventilated adidas climacool to keep you cool and dry.

But it’s the new light blue trim which gives this shirt its unique look, especially as it also features the makers’ famous three-stripe trademark under the sleeves and a new position for the adidas logo.

And one final change sees blue numbers return on a plain back to make identification easier, in accordance with Premier League guidelines.

I like this. I like the fact that adidas are tucking their stripes out of the way. I'd be interested to hear what baggies fans think of the light blue accents, though they have to be better than a Black Country one! Is this just about within the realms of acceptability? I think so, but it hasn't occurred before in their strip. A huge improvement on the pin stripes of two seasons ago, and a shirt to be worn casually with the grandad collar. Nice job I'd say.

This a classy design. Love the light blue accents. I have an issue with the blank back - but that seems to be a league wide problem. Teams kit design should not have to be compromised to increase 'visibility' or whatever. On another note - as ugly as that sponsor is it has been incorporated as best it could be into the shirt.

Hmm, it's nice, but the light blue throws me for a loop. I still think the old Umbro kits were the best.
