Brentford FC 2019-20 Umbro Home Kit

Brentford FC 2019-20 Umbro Home Kit #BrentfordFC #FarewellGriffinPark #umbro #WeAreBrentford

Brentford FC revealed their new 19/20 Home football kit by Umbro.

The traditional and synonymous Brentford red and white stripes remain with a nod to the past for the club's final year at Griffin Park. In collaboration with the First Team staff, Umbro have designed a truly bespoke kit for next season.

The shirt has a stylized black ribbed neckline and cuff detail, full woven crest with a 'Farewell Griffin Park' back neck sign off. By request of the First Team Coach, Players and Technical Analysis staff and to enable enhanced visual identity, the back of the shirt will incorporate a solid white area.

You’ll be watching the legs of Benrahma mesmerise you in black shorts with a red contrast side panel detail with a full cover woven crest. Black socks with a red turn over cuff and contrast stacked Umbro diamond, with cotton footbed and instep cool zone technology finish the look for the 2019/20 campaign.

Using emerging trends from the wider world to bring a fresh abstract appeal to the next generation of kits the Goalkeeper and second kit has a similar look and feel which you’ll see in the next few weeks.

To aid performance Umbro have built a baselayer ensuring zonal performance; natural wicking fabrics working in tandem with zonal mechanical stretch. A countermeasure to muscle fatigue driven through tactile performance. Teamed with a lightweight jersey to create a two-piece layering story, brought to life with one-way moisture fabrics, enhanced fit and abrasion resistant trims.

    @Glavin Did you read on?

    ‘To create a two-piece layering...’

    In English, it’s one shirt with two layers. It’s not rocket science.

    This is a boring shirt considering what they’ve done with derby and hull.

    They even had another animal to give tribute to ?

    @Ken Adams I suppose it is. But that's better than your mum, who looks great from behind until you flip her round.

    "To aid performance Umbro have built a baselayer ensuring zonal performance.."... wth does that mean? The base layer is separate?

    Proper kit, old fashioned in a good way. Don't love the big blank on the back, will look better with the numbers on tho.
