This is the Lover's F.C x Rizla “Green Band Jersey”.
The new shirt, born of the collaboration between football kit aficionado Neal Heard’s fashion venture and Imperial Brands’ cigarette/joint rolling paper operation, takes its cues from the Nigeria 1996 Home shirt, in which the Super Eagles won gold at the Atlanta ’96 Olympic Games.
The green-white-and-black creation sees “Naija” emblems - as well as Nike branding - replaced with those of Rizla and Lover’s F.C and there is a white-and-black number 4 on the reverse, referencing the Nigerian legend Nwankwo Kanu.
