Brazil’s Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras have unveiled a commemorative shirt which has been made available only to their “Avanti” club members.
The Puma design, which nods to a version worn in the 1930s - by the side then known as "Palestra Itália" - features a V-neck and cuffs in the colours of the Italian flag, referencing Palmeiras' Italian origins on this long-sleeved release.
The patch crest boasts the Palestra Itália (PI) monogram, in green and red, while the logo of the German manufacturer is in green and the hem patch intertwines the red Puma wordmark with the Palestra - and Palmeiras - P, again in green.

This exclusive item - revealed by the São Paulo-based club on the 80th anniversary of Palestra Itália being renamed Palmeiras - comes hot on the heels of a Palmeiras "Kit of the Week" contest on our sister site, DesignFootball.com, with one of the entries uncannily prefiguring the launch of this creation.
