Bolivia 1980 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been issued to or match worn by a #12 goalkeeper in one of the friendly matches against Finland played in 1980.
Finland made the long trip to South America for two matches against Bolivia and one with Brazil.
The first match at Estadio Hernando Siles, La Paz on the 30th November ended in a comfortable 3-0 victory for the hosts but the Scandanavians showed more resolve in the second game played at Estadio Ramon Tahuichi Aguilera, Santa Cruz on the 4th December securing a 2-2 draw. Bolivia wore this superb Adidas design between 1980-81 before reverting to kits by Brazilian manufacturer Penalty who had been their previous supplier.
