Ireland 1988-90 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been issued to Kelly for the 1988-90 seasons.
This classic Adidas design was launched ahead of Euro 88 but first worn in a 1990 World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland at Windsor Park which finished in a 0-0 draw.
This white shirt was also used in another 0-0 stalemate this time with Hungary in May '89. The side went on to qualify for their first ever World Cup Finals in this time under boss Jack Charlton. Kelly made his debut in '87 and was on the bench for both of these matches and was assigned #13 for the Northern Ireland game. The forward went on to be a part of the Ireland squad for 10 years between 88-98 and despite winning only 26 caps he went to 3 major tournaments and scored 9 goals for his country.
