Hibernian 1989-90 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been match worn by Collins in the UEFA Cup 2nd Round against RFC Liège in the 1989-90 season.
Hibs beat Videton in the 1st Round and drew the 1st leg against the Belgian's 0-0 at Easter Road.
There was little to choose between the two teams and the tie had to be decided in extra-time after another goalless 90 minutes of action at Stade Maurice Dufrasne. Liège captain Jean-François de Sart struck an audacious long range effort in the 104th minute to end Hibernian's European run. Collins wore the #10 shirt in both games and played each leg in full. The midfielder came through the youth ranks at the club in '84 and spent 6 years with Hibs before becoming Celtic's first million pound player. Collins later played for Monaco, Everton and Fulham and won 58 caps scoring 12 goals for Scotland.
