Adidas 1994 USA Match Worn Away Shirt

United States 1994 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been match worn by Sorber in the friendly match against England played at Wembley on the 7th September 1994.

This all-time classic design with the legendary denim effect stars pattern had stolen the show in the summer at the 1994 World Cup which the nation had hosted but this would sadly be one of its last outings with Nike taking over as the USMNT's manufacturer in '95.

USA had famously beaten England for the second time ever at the '93 US Cup but were undone here in London by Alan Shearer who bagged a first half brace to wrap up a 2-0 victory for the Three Lions. Sorber played the full match and the players continued to wear the same number shirts as they had been assigned for the World Cup. The midfielder had been snapped up by Pumas in Mexico where he would spend two years before returning to star in the MLS and made 67 appearances in total for his country.
