Topper 1985-88 Brazil Match Issue Home Shirt

Brazil 1985-88 player shirt by Topper that was swapped following the friendly match against Holland played at de Kuip, Rotterdam on the 20th December 1989.

This was not the design that was worn in this game though, Topper had released a new kit that was first worn in October '89 against Italy and that was used here too.

Careca gave the visitors a 1-0 victory on the day in the first meeting of the two nations since the 1974 World Cup. This classic Topper shirt was worn most notably at the 1986 World Cup, when the side triumphed at the 1989 Copa America and in the infamous qualifier with Chile when they plotted to get Brazil knocked out.
