After being a part of the glorious 1995 Champions League winning Ajax side Reiziger, like most of his team mates was hot property. Unfortunately for the Dutch giants the new Bosman ruling allowed many of their great young stars to leave for nothing and Reiziger and Davids moved to AC Milan in the summer of '96, Kluivert followed a year later with Seedorf having gone to Sampdoria in '95.

It did not really work out in Italy for Reiziger though, the full back made only 18 appearances as the Rossoneri went from champions to 11th place and he hooked up with old boss Louis van Gaal at Barcelona for 97-98.
