Nike 1992-93 Paris Saint-Germain Match Worn UEFA Cup Away Shirt

Paris Saint-Germain 92/93 player shirt by Nike believed to have been match worn by Fournier in the UEFA Cup Semi Final 1st leg against Juventus played at the Stadio Delle Alpi on the 6th April 1993.

Fournier played the full match as PSG grabbed an away goal but lost out 2-1 to the Italian giants. Legendary striker George Weah got the Parisiens off to the perfect start with a cool finish past Peruzzi on 17 minutes.

The hosts hit back though through their own hero, Roberto Baggio, who bagged a brace to give Juve a narrow advantage to take with them to France. The second leg was a tense affair as the side looked to secure their place in a European final for the first time. Unfortunately it was to be a heartbreaking night and it was Baggio who was again the architect of their misery. The pattern on the shoulders of this superb Nike design was unique to each shirt and was not identical on every kit. Fournier did go on to finally taste European glory with PSG though in the form of the Cup Winners Cup three years later and his impressive form in '92 earned him 3 appearances for France.

Correct player size print professionally heat pressed, plastic transfer crest and Nike logo, small size flock Commodore sponsor without company logo to meet UEFA regulations, not commercially available to this specification, swapped with a Juventus player and comes from their collection - a signed letter verifying this can be provided.
