Scotland 1987 player shirt by Umbro believed to have been match worn by Simpson in the Rous Cup match against England played at Hampden Park on the 23rd May 1987.
This was the third edition of the tournament which this year also included Brazil.
The two rivals played out a hard-fought 0-0 draw here. Simpson had been a part of the great Dons team of the early 80's that won honours home and abroad but this was only his fourth international appearance and he only picked up one more cap after this. Scotland lost to Brazil in the next game and the South American's took the trophy home with them.
