Manchester United 17/18 Adidas Third Kit

Adidas has revealed Manchester United's third kit for the 2017/18 season, designed by a fan.

It was produced using the adidas Football Creator Studio platform, channelling and celebrating the creativity of football fans all over the world.

The Creator Studio platform allowed fans the opportunity to design the third kits for United and five other clubs – FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid CF, Juventus, AC Milan and Flamengo – the ultimate expression of fan creativity.

All submitted kits were voted on by fans in a 'battlemode' that saw the most popular kits shortlisted to a top 100. The winners for each club were then chosen by an expert panel of some of the clubs' most iconic players and a design by Aniello Carotenuto came out on top at United.

The kit, which will be worn during the 2017/18 season, represents the powerful bond between the team and the fans. The light grey shirt is designed with a graphic showing the silhouette of the famous 'Holy Trinity' statue outside Old Trafford. The statue of club icons Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law represents a golden era for the club and this unique history was the inspiration for the new third kit.

Perfect attire for Jose's boys as they glide, like a vintage Rolls Royce, to the summit of the prem. Sublime.

This kit reminded me of one of my finest afternoons at the Dell. What colour will they wear in the second half?

United's last grey kit worked out so well...this one looks to be even more 'invisible' for the model against that backdrop!
