Portugal 1993 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been worn by Nogueira in the 1994 World Cup Qualification Group 1 match against Estonia played at Estádio da Luz, Lisbon on the 10th November '93.
With the golden generation coming through the side were in the hunt to reach only their second World Cup Finals since 1966.
The Seleção had won their last four matches going into this game and an emphatic 3-0 win over the Baltic minnows meant they would travel to Milan with their chances of going to USA 94 very much alive. Futre put the hosts ahead after just 2 minutes and goals from Oceano and Rui Aguas settled the contest. Unfortunately Carlos Queiroz's men were undone by a late Dino Baggio goal against Italy and Switzerland beat Estonia which meant they missed out. Nogueira made only 7 appearances for the national team but did score 2 goals and was a stalwart of the Portuguese top flight for over 7 years.
