Terry Yorath's men looked like securing a 0-0 draw against the Irish who would be heading off to Italia '90 this summer until Bernie Slaven popped up with an 86th minute winner for the hosts. Phillips played the full match at right back. The '87 FA Cup winner went on to represent Wales 62 times and later played for Nottingham Forest. The Dragons only played in this classic Hummel home kit once more before switching to Umbro for the start of Euro '92 qualifying.

Correct player size cloth print professionally machine stitched, fully embroidered crest, long sleeved version not commercially available, swapped with an Ireland player and comes from their own personal collection - a signed letter verifying this will be provided.
