Penalty 1986 Fluminense Match Worn Away Shirt

Fluminense 1986 player shirt by Penalty believed to have been match worn in the friendly match against Manchester United played at Old Trafford on the 6th August 1986.

The match was billed as the Prince of Wales Trust International Challenge but it was supposed to be Fluminense's great rivals Flamengo who were the opposition in this exhibition game to raise funds for the charity.

Flu proved to be a more than able stand-in, holding the Red Devils to a 0-0 draw in front of a crowd of 32,275 fans. The game was decided by a penalty shoot-out which United won 4-3 in what was the first game of their pre-season schedule.
