Adidas 1989-91 Malaysia Match Issue Home Shirt

Malaysia 1989-91 player shirt by Adidas believed to have been issued to a #3 and was swapped with an England player following the friendly match played in Merdeka, Kuala Lumpar on the 12th June 1991.

This Adidas design had been worn in the qualifying campaign for the 1990 World Cup but a new kit was released for this first ever match against the Three Lions. Malaysia lost their match 4-2 with Gary Lineker scoring all four for the visitors. This shirt was worn when the side finished above rivals Singapore but behind South Korea in the quest for a place at Italia 90.
